My experience with this company has taught me to pay attention to the significant few negative reviews over the trivial many good ones. 1. They came late, and luckily I had all day, plus my new location was right up the street, so I didn’t mind. 2. Hit a lot of walls, causing dents and scuffs in the place I was moving out of, but I already wasn’t getting my deposit back, so again, didn’t mind, but definitely took note. We get to my new location, and I just had the walls painted ( painter was actually there at the time) and they were pretty careless after my spiel to them to be careful as I showed them through the house. They dropped multiple items in front of me, I have a huge gash in my flooring because of them dropping my dresser. Not to mention, the leg of my dresser (that is over 50 years old ) broke off when I moved to rearrange it. I typically would let these things go because movers are trying to be fast and may cause minor damage, but if I had known items were going to be broken (some beyond repair) I would NOT have gone with this company, no matter how fast or inexpensive they are, both of which they are not.

The movers called the 1st morning saying they were going to be late and showed up after 10:00 with only 4 guys not 6 as promised and 1 large truck and 1 small truck which was supposed to be 2 large trucks. The one large truck had the roof ripped out of it. They took all day to load then told me they could not complete the move that day as originally scheduled leaving my stuff in a truck with a 24' by 1' hole from the front to the back of the truck. Leaving me to get a motel for the night.Next day they showed up and started unloading then came to me and advised that they had dropped my dehumidifier (smashed beyond belief). I was understanding about this as I have moved many times before and understand things like this happen. When unloading they would just drop boxes anywhere in the room then had to move them a second time or trip over them while bringing in more boxes then the furniture.The supervisor came out and looked at the damage and at the end of the day we worked out a credit of $400 for the damaged dehumidifier. Keep in mind I was quoted $2,200 and even with the discount they charged me over $3,000.After paying them and even giving them a tip I started noticing damage on almost every piece of furniture I have with a list to long to list here. Some items like my high end desk looked like it had been dragged on asphalt on the end but received large scratches and damage in multiple sides and places. I believe I have close to 20 items damaged.I reached back out to the supervisory sent many pictures of the damage and asked her to come back out and look at the damage which she never did. I traded test messages for weeks and kept getting the run around and was told that she sent it to her boss Kevin and he would get with me. more time passed and I sent reminder text that I still have not heard from him and was given more excuses until finally my text messages went unanswered.I called the office and asked to speak to Kevin and was told he was unavailable but would call me back. over 1 week later I called again and left a message for Kevin to call me back and still have not heard back.I have moved and used movers 5 times in the past and never asked for any money back as once again I understand things happen but in this case the amount of damage was extreme. This could have probably been resolved with a simple phone call but obviously they would rather dodge my calls. I was never threatening, demanding or even load and obnoxious I just wanted to talk to someone and see what we could work out.I moved November 16th 2020 and its now mid January almost 2 months later so I have no recourse to leave this review.Once again I can accept things happen and sometimes get broken or damaged but the lack of communication and dodging phone calls is what makes me the most upset.Do not use these guys and after checking other reviews I see this is a pattern and the same names keep coming up.

They were so great so accomodative and so helpful i just cannot thank them enough for my idiana to maryland move. I even had glass furniture with not a scratch on it! Please use this business for your moving you will not regret it!:)

They moved our large furniture pieces and a huge children's backyard playset with ease. It would have taken us an army to disassemble and reassemble it ourselves, but they were able to do it in just two large pieces. It was worth it for just that piece alone!

In & Out Moving is by far the best experience I have had with movers. They carefully loaded my 2 bedroom townhome and unloaded into my new home 1 hour away in a little over 3 hours. They were careful with my belongings, and careful with my new wood floors. They assembled my bed and offered to stay and help arrange my furniture. I would never call anyone else again.

Where can I start? Despite conducting an in house walk though, quote was incorrect. Despite giving the delivery address twice, trucks still went to wrong city to deliver. Laborers argued over who was going to move heavy items into basement. Still sorting through, but at least 6 others are damaged including new $2500 refrigerator, $600 dryer, $199 pop a shot set, daughter's vanity, an over the toilet storage cabinet and am finding hardware from a bunk bed they disassembled. Probably because they didn't want to have to carry the two separate pieces down a flight of stairs. I withheld payment and asked the owner call me to discuss this - which the office (Dontay) approved. No callback. I have requested the owner call me about this three times. No callback received. The owner apparently prefers to do his business hiding behind text messages. I was billed over $5900 when the quote was for between $2400-$2600. He finally texted that he refunded one of the charges, but if course, it was the lesser of the two and was for more than what I was told the final bill was when they left the night before you coloring unloading. Laborers reeked of marijuana....a complaint was file with USDOT AND FMCSA. Ready to call my attorney to file a lawsuit. I have witnesses (both family and independent third-party as we had a cleaning service here as well) that were party to their "bull in china shop" approach to moving .

My experience with Kevin and In & Out was a nightmare! I have over 30+ items damaged or destroyed in an in-city move. I had also hired them to pack some of my rooms and they didn't even put paper or plastic around many of my kitchen items. My washer fell off their dolly into the concrete driveway and is not scratched up. They put holes in the drywall in the new house while moving items upstairs. Several furniture pieces that were only 6 months old got damaged as well as some one of a kind older pieces. I have been battling with Kevin for 11 months over the damages. He refused to take my phone calls but texted and emails with 30+ promises of getting my items repaired. These promises were broken time after time when he didn't get the work done. He lied constantly to me about when the items would be picked up or fixed. After numerous stressful months, I got the items fixed and went to the attorney. Kevin finally agreed to pay me back (partially) for the reimbursement of repair services.... which he still has not! Now he will not even text me or email me back even though he promised to write me a check and drop it off. This was the worst situation one could ever endure for a local move. Kevin was super when he tried to get my business but was unprofessional and dishonest after the move. He has no integrity and is not a man of his word.

This company is great ... Kevin, the owner quickly responded to my move inquiry and worked it around my schedule. The movers that came we're Chris and Keith and they were efficient, speedy, helpful and very clean. The move was flawless and quick relieving me from any moving woes. I was estimated a larger cost than I was billed, so they billed me very fairly. Everyone was professional and friendly; easy to work with.

I just can't say enough praising this company and their crew. We had a recent move in Indianapolis and even though it was short distance, we were moving between pretty big houses with tons of stuff, large furniture, TVs, piano and a lot more. Their quote was below everyone else and on the day of move, the crew showed up on time and started working right away. Thirteen hours later, we were done with the move and everything was done perfectly. The staff were extremely helpful and professional. Moving is no fun, but these guys make sure you'll have an A+ experience!
